Destination management companies 360 Destination Group and CSI DMC are merging, which will result in one of the largest DMCs in the United States. The two organizations will continue operating as separate entities for the near future but intend to unify under a single brand before year's end.

The merger brings together a combined $200 million in revenue and 360 employees, with operations in 46 destinations nationwide.

"This is truly a game-changer for the DMC industry," said Trevor Hanks, managing partner of 360DG. "By combining our expertise, destination knowledge and creative capabilities, we can provide our clients with an even more seamless, innovative and high-touch experience. This merger isn’t just about growth, it’s about further elevating what we deliver to our clients at every stage of the event planning process."

Both companies cite the expanded reach, greater resources and deeper expertise that will come from the merger, which was facilitated for 360DG by Objective Investment Banking & Valuation, and by Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips for CSI.

The companies will "prioritize operational excellence" during the integration process, according to a release; as of press time, a spokesperson had not responded as to whether that will result in streamlining the operations segment of the workforce. The companies are promising a smooth transition for both employees and clients.

"Our clients will continue to experience the same exceptional service and creative event solutions they have come to expect," added Hope Valentine, president of CSI DMC. "The only difference is that now we have an even broader reach, greater collective resources and a stronger foundation to execute unforgettable programs nationwide."

The companies promise greater growth opportunities for their employees as well. "We’re not just growing in size — we’re growing in our ability to invest in our people," said Shelly Archer, managing partner of 360 Destination Group. "This move enables us to create more opportunities for career development, internal promotions and collaboration across a larger network."

CSI DMC has been in business for 38 years, while 360DG has been operating for more than 45 years.
