The International Congress and Convention Association has released its annual rankings of the top global cities and countries that hosted the most in-person meetings in 2023. ICCA's research team analyzed data on more than 10,000 association meetings submitted by its members.
"We're pleased to share ICCA's Country and City Rankings for 2023," said ICCA CEO Senthil Gopinath. "Our research team has performed exceptionally in compiling this comprehensive data. It's a cornerstone for our association, providing invaluable insights that empower our members and enhance our community's strategic positioning."
Per the findings, the country that hosted the most meetings last year was the U.S. (690), followed by Italy (553) and Spain (505). Meanwhile, Paris topped the city list with 156 meetings. Singapore and Lisbon were the second and third most popular cities at 152 and 151 meetings, respectively.
