Dallas Welcomes New Marriott Meetings Hotel

The 255-room property features more than 13,000 square feet of event space.
The pool deck at the new Marriott Dallas Uptown Hotel holds 50 to 60 people for an event.

The 255-room Marriott Dallas Uptown Hotel opened Feb. 10 near the American Airlines Center and the Dallas Museum of Art, as well as the popular 3.5-mile Katy Trail, carved from an abandoned railroad line.

“Uptown Dallas is a vibrant neighborhood within the city and we are thrilled to join the scene,” said Robbie Tawil, general manager of the Marriott Dallas Uptown. “Our hotel is ready to become a staple in the Uptown community, providing residents and travelers with a place to wine, dine and relax.”

The new property's 13,130 square feet of meeting space features built-in A/V and a wealth of natural light. A rooftop pool deck, with 360-degree views of the city, can hold about 50-60 guests, depending on the set up. Fine-dining, brasserie-style, is the hallmark of the Good Graces restaurant, and cups of Starbucks and breakfast offerings can be grabbed at Vicinity Coffee. Guests can work out at any hour in the always-open fitness center.

The hotel, of course, is following Marriott's strict, Commitment to Clean guidelines that have been designed to meet the health-and-safety challenges presented by Covid-19. These practices include requiring face coverings in all public areas, providing enhanced cleaning throughout the property and offering contactless guest services.
