Northstar's Destination California: Photo Highlights

Destination California, Northstar Meetings Group's premier event for qualified meetings and incentive professionals looking to book business throughout the Golden State, is right around the corner -- taking place March 8-10 at the Westin Long Beach in Long Beach, Calif.

The destination-specific event enables attendees to interact firsthand with representatives of the states's most desirable destinations, hotels, CVBs, DMOs and activities for successful events, while making invaluable business connections. This year's gathering will feature an itinerary of prearranged one-on-one meetings, as well as education, networking and delightful experiences with California flair. As we gear up for March's event, take a look at Destination California highlights from Northstar's 2019 and 2018 events.

At the 2020 event, Ben Nemtin, author and star of the MTV show "The Buried Life," will challenge Destination California attendees to achieve the unthinkable. He will work with attendees to uncover why prioritizing personal goals is vital to well-being, the well-being of those around you and your career. He will also encourage attendees to identify their most important dreams in life and will work with them to take actionable steps toward reaching those goals.

Dan Seidman, managing director of Read Emotions, will lead a highly interactive program that will introduce attendees to the science of hidden emotions by pretesting their ability to discern micro-expressions and then teaching the group how to read and interpret facial expressions better.

Appointments include face-to-face meetings with key suppliers from the Golden States.
