The American Society of Association Executives announced which destinations will host its flagship conference, the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition, for the next decade. ASAE's 2024 conference is currently being held Aug. 10-13 at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

ASAE has more than 52,000 individual members and more than 1,800 organizational members. According to the organization, the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition is the largest education and networking conference for association professionals in the world.

Among the factors ASAE considered during the site-selection process are the convention center facilities, hotel packages, off-site venue options for evening events, geographic location, the city's relationship with ASAE and the support of local officials and hospitality industry leaders. The selected cities include:

  • 2025: Los Angeles
  • 2026: Indianapolis
  • 2027: Charlotte, N.C.
  • 2028: Chicago
  • 2029: Washington, D.C.
  • 2030: Columbus, Ohio
  • 2031: Orlando
  • 2032: St. Louis
  • 2033: Baltimore
  • 2034: Milwaukee

"Congratulations to the cities selected to host the next 10 ASAE Annual Meetings & Expositions," said ASAE president and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. "We are excited to partner with these cities to deliver exceptional experiences for ASAE attendees and showcase each city's unique brand of hospitality. The ASAE Annual Meeting serves as a cornerstone for the association community to connect, share insights and shape the future of the profession. Our Annual Meeting host cities are critical partners to our success."

According to ASAE, the immediate economic impact of hosting the organization's Annual Meeting & Exposition is $15-$18 million over the course of four days. Host cities can typically expect 20 percent of ASAE decision-makers in attendance to book future business in their destination within five years.
