Clearwater, Fla., is number one on TripAdvisor's 2019 list.

Clearwater Beach, Fla., is the top beach in the U.S., according to TripAdvisor’s “2019 Best Beaches in the U.S.”  The annual rankings are based on traveler reviews and ratings gathered on the TripAdvisor website over a 12-month period.  Following are the top 10 (for a complete list, visit TripAdvisor). For the second year in a row, Clearwater has claimed the top spot on TripAdvisor’s roundup. The surrounding 35 miles of coastline offer everything from activities along a lively promenade to serene white-sand shores.

Ka’anapali is “a three-mile stretch of heaven,” according to the local Beach Resort Association. Abutting the shoreline is an open-air village complex with shops, restaurants and a whaling museum.
