The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North has completed a renovation of its 210 casitas, suites and public spaces. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, the property has redone its accommodations with natural elements and an earth-tone palette. The resort has also updated its lobby with new furnishings and décor that complements the lobby's valley views and added flat-screen televisions to the patios of 100 casitas and suites. The resort recently unveiled its Spanish steakhouse, Talavera.
Affiliated with the Four Seasons, Troon North Golf Club's award-winning Pinnacle Course reopened last October, following a four-month enhancement project. The renovation -- overseen by Ron Despain, Troon's senior vice president of golf-course development -- included a complete restoration of the classic greens as originally designed by Tom Weiskopf. Troon North features two 18-hole golf courses, Pinnacle and Monument.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport now offers the CLEAR biometric identity platform at PHX Terminal 4 and will soon make it available at all terminals. CLEAR members move through a dedicated lane at airport security, where they instantly validate their identities with just the tap of a finger or blink of the eye before moving on to bag checks and metal detectors.
LDV Winery has unveiled its new tasting room in Old Town Scottsdale's SouthBridge center. To celebrate its 10th year of winemaking, LDV recently debuted Decade, a Rhone-style blend. Menu offerings include noshing boards with eats from local purveyors such as Crow's Dairy, Green Valley Pecans, the Sphinx Date Co. and Noble bakery.

The redesigned Phoenician Golf Club reopened this past November, following a 10-month transformation from a 27-hole facility to an 18-hole course. The rerouting follows a more contiguous pattern of play and tightened distances from greens to the next tee. The affiliated 644-room Phoenician resort delights palates with eight eateries, including a new setting for traditional afternoon tea. The property has nearly 160,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
The Scott Resort & Spa, formerly the FireSky Resort, has completed a two-year, $15 million renovation. The head-to-toe transformation included the lobby, restaurant, bar, meeting and event spaces, and all 204 guest rooms.
A new spa has been unveiled at the 176-room Civana Carefree, formerly the Carefree Resort & Conference Center. The hotel is the first in a portfolio focused on sustainable wellness.

At Taliesin West, the beloved winter retreat of legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the multi-purpose Music Pavilion recently was outfitted with all-new theatrical lighting. The venue is suitable for all manner of exhibitions, concerts and seated dinners for up to 150 people.
