Meet in the Bradenton Area
Where unforgettable events are always a breeze.
Centrally located on Florida’s West Coast, the Bradenton Area offers turquoise waters, outdoor adventure, and vibrant culture.
The perfect place to host your next conference or trade show, the destination doesn’t just offer meeting spaces; it provides a myriad of possibilities to impress and inspire — whether you’re looking for unspoiled nature, rich creative experiences, or a chance to simply relax and reconnect with your team on breathtaking beaches.
Flexible venues, waterfront settings and walkable districts make it easy to design events that flow seamlessly from daytime sessions to sunset receptions. Here, business blends naturally with coastal energy, creating gatherings that feel both productive and refreshingly memorable.
BRING ANY VISION TO LIFE
Thanks to a $54 million transformation, the Bradenton Area Convention Center includes a stunning new Grand Ballroom for seating up to 800 guests banquet style, a versatile Exhibit Hall for large-scale events, a Conference Center with four breakout rooms that can be divided into seven spaces, as well as outdoor event spaces for taking advantage of the year-round beautiful weather.
Gulf Islands Hospitality is the Convention Center’s exclusive in-house catering team, ensuring a seamless event experience for your attendees with customizable culinary options. Meeting planners are sure to appreciate the diverse offerings, including selections inspired by the destination’s “Floribbean” cuisine.
On the Convention Center campus and connected by a climate-controlled corridor, the Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa serves as the headquarters hotel, and features 252 spacious rooms, 10,000 square feet of event space, and upscale amenities – from rooftop dining to spa services.
CONNECT WITH NATURE
Low-rise coastlines, serene waterways, and sugar-white sand create a setting that feels refreshingly removed from the everyday. Here, the rhythm is relaxed and the views uninterrupted — a backdrop that invites attendees to linger a little longer.
With 16 nature parks and preserves throughout the area, groups can reconnect with nature — and one another — while hiking scenic trails or paddling through coastal waterways. Just a short ferry ride away, the beaches of Anna Maria Island are a favorite for post-meeting gatherings and beachfront dine-arounds. The Gulf Islands Ferry offers a scenic, traffic-free, and eco-friendly ride from the downtown Bradenton Riverwalk Pier to the historic Bridge Street Pier, making it easy to explore the coast while supporting a more sustainable way to travel.
EXPAND THEIR HORIZONS
The Bradenton Area is home to exciting museums, shopping, and a thriving local arts scene, perfect for opening minds, encouraging creativity, and strengthening teams. Just minutes from the Convention Center, the walkable downtown offers inspiring ways to entertain your group, from strolling the Bradenton Riverwalk to enjoying an evening at Manatee Performing Arts Center.
In the nearby Village of the Arts — Florida’s largest live-work artists community — historic cottages serve as working studios, galleries, and award-winning restaurants. Groups can also lean into their creative side at the Herrig Center for the Arts, which offers exhibitions featuring local, state, and national artists and more than 350 classes, including pottery, silversmithing, watercolor, and glassblowing.
When it’s time to dine, sustainably caught seafood and fresh, local ingredients shine in menus inspired by Floribbean cuisine — a fusion of Caribbean spices and Florida freshness.
