Meet On the River
One of the largest river revitalization projects in the country is transforming downtown Grand Rapids into an even more dynamic meeting destination. The new-in-2026 Acrisure Amphitheater, a 12,000-seat outdoor performance venue, offers a variety of event spaces — from private decks to a massive stage to the entire facility.
Amway Stadium, an 8,500-seat pro soccer stadium, opens in spring 2027 with multiple event space options. The in-progress Grand River Greenway, an 85-mile network of trails and parks connecting downtown Grand Rapids with Lake Michigan, incorporates amenity-rich outdoor meeting spaces along the scenic Grand River.
And there’s much more in the works!
Easy Does It
Grand Rapids makes it easy to stay connected after the sessions wrap with a variety of team-building activities. Paint a portrait or create a custom fragrance. Bond over a game of indoor miniature golf, duckpin bowling or simulated golf. Compete in classic TV game shows. Cheer on a pro hockey, basketball or woman’s volleyball team. Attend a Broadway musical together. Explore downtown on a fun scavenger hunt. Take a guided tour of Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum and downtown breweries. It’s all within a 10-minute walk … or, if you prefer, a free bus ride.
