Incentive will join the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) in presenting the Rewards and Recognition Roundtable at TEAMS Conference & Expo this fall, a first for the leading sports-event industry trade show.
The goal of the Roundtable, taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at TEAMS '17 in Orlando, FL, is to help educate sports-event organizers and host cities about the ways they can create non-cash incentive programs that use brand-name merchandise and gift card rewards to effectively motivate, recognize, and engage participants.
The Roundtable will be introduced by Leo Jakobson, executive editor of Incentive, and moderated by Richard Low, CPIM, vice-president of special markets for Citizen Watch Company of America and a past president of the IMA.
"The IMA champions the use of incentives and emphasizes the power of using recognized brands in rewards and recognition programs," Low said. "The TEAMS Conference & Expo and this Rewards and Recognition Roundtable will allow merchandise and gift card companies to connect with the sports-event industry in a way we've never done before."

The Rewards and Recognition Roundtable will take place just prior to the opening of TEAMS '17, and is open to event organizers, exhibitors and sponsors at no additional charge.
