Uniworld to Offer More River-Cruise Charters for Meeting, Incentive Groups

The company's charter business has grown 195 percent since launching in 2017

Although it can be exceptional and memorable, touring a city by land is ordinary. Anyone can do it, and everyone does. Seeing a city by water, however, is an entirely different and truly unique experience.

So argues Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, a luxury, all-inclusive river cruise operator that is betting big on the group market by expanding its charter opportunities for incentive and meeting groups, it announced yesterday.

Uniworld first began promoting charter opportunities in 2017. Since then, it says, its charter business has grown 195 percent thanks to "exceptional" interest from the corporate incentive travel, meetings and private group travel markets. To meet demand, the company said it will now offer charters to groups across both of its brands: Uniworld, which offers all-inclusive cruises aboard 23 rivers in 24 countries, as well as U by Uniworld, its new brand specializing in European river cruises for passengers aged 21 to 45.

All 17 of Uniworld's ships and both of U by Uniworld's ships are now available for full ship charter, accommodating between 116 and 159 guests in Europe and 56 to 81 guests in Egypt, India, Vietnam and Cambodia. Charters are completely customizable, including special menus, onboard entertainment and activities, private shore excursions and corporate branding opportunities. All ships include premier accommodations for meetings groups, with complimentary A/V equipment, ship-wide Wi-Fi and meeting spaces in a variety of configurations.

According to the company -- whose previous charter clients include global automobile companies, universities, financial institutions and more -- itineraries can also incorporate themes such as food and wine, history or art.
