Who would have thought that venue selection would be front-page news? President Trump’s decision to host the Group of 7 summit at his own Trump National Doral luxury golf resort near Miami quickly drew bipartisan criticism and erupted into a political crisis. The heat caused the president to reverse his decision and the administration has returned to the drawing board to decide on a less controversial venue for the gathering of world leaders from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, Italy and Japan. The administration has mentioned Camp David as a possibility, but has been tight-lipped about which other properties are being considered.

Where do you think the event should be held? Choose from one of the following or write in your winner. For criteria, we looked at the types of properties that have previously hosted the G7, and have chosen options that are within 50 miles of an international airport, have a wealth of meeting spaces and suites fit for heads of state, offer a high level of security and have hosted high-level events in the past.
