New All-Inclusive Hotel Brand UNICO Launches

The first property will open on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula in 2017

AIC Hotel Group has unveiled UNICO Hotels, a luxury all-inclusive, adults-only brand designed to connect guests to a destination and reflect its local culture.

The first UNICO Hotel is scheduled to open in Riviera Maya on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula in the first quarter of 2017. The 448-room property will offer private excursions to lesser-known parts of the region, cooking classes with local chefs, and lectures with experts in the area. The property will feature an 11,603-square-foot ballroom as well as ten breakout rooms totaling 4,220 square feet.  

AIC's portfolio includes the Eden Roc Miami Beach and its forthcoming hotel-within-a-hotel, the NOBU Hotel Miami Beach, the company also has  several high-end all-inclusive Hard Rock properties in Mexico, including the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, as well as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Three more properties are forthcoming. They will be in Los Cabos and Riviera Cancun, Mexico, and in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
