Visitors to Grand Cayman now have a new way to not just relax, but to enhance their wellness over the long run. Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort has announced the opening of Botanika Union, a dedicated spa aimed at providing guests with a holistic wellness experience that goes beyond a single spa treatment.
The spa offers a range of treatments including facials and massages as well as products from Naturopathica as well as holistic therapies including aromatherapy, meditation and reiki, which can be enjoyed on a monthly or even weekly basis as part of what the property calls an "Art of Living lifestyle." Beyond its treatments, the space will also be used as a forum for group events, from conversations with expert "wellness collaborators," vision board sessions and other activities. The venue recently hosted a workshop with fair-trade incence company Incausa, discussing the importance of morning rituals.
Botanica Union will also offer a Vitality Bar, serving up natural elixirs, herbal tonics and kombucha on tap from popular local spot Jessie's Juice Bar.
The spa adds to the 295-room Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort's expansive group offerings, including several restaurants such as al fresco dining spot Veranda on Seven Mile Beach, activities ranging from snorkeling to table tennis and five event rooms comprising more than 5,500 square feet of space.
"We recognize the power of rituals creating abundance, vitality, goodness and balance in everyday life," said Laura Skec, director of sales and marketing at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach House. "What we offer -- botanical therapies and soul nourishing activities -- is our unique vision of a spa experience that is not offered anywhere else in Cayman. At Botanika Union, we aim to inspire guests to create daily rituals that will help enrich every component of their life -- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We want them to walk away from their experience with us feeling the best version of themselves."
