Arizona

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale

The pool deck at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale (above) reopened earlier this year as part of a multiphase renovation, which added two restaurants and luxury cabanas with food-and-beverage package options to the space. Formerly the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, the final product includes refurbished rooms, dining outlets, and expanded indoor and outdoor event spaces. The resort currently offers 493 rooms and more than 75,000 square feet of meeting venues.

The Phoenician
Completed: August
The Phoenician, a Marriott Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, completed phase two of renovation to its 160,000 square feet of meeting space, encompassing two ballrooms, the upper-level breakout rooms and hallways. Phase one, finished in 2023, updated a ballroom, breakout rooms and public prefunction spaces. The massive property offers 645 rooms, eight restaurants, three pools and an 18-hole championship golf course.

Scottsdale Resort & Spa
Completed: April
The Scottsdale Resort & Spa finished a $40 million transformation this spring. The largest renovation in the property's 50-year history, the project scaled down the room count from 278 to 276. New culinary options include an upscale café and wine bar, a speakeasy, and a signature restaurant serving Sonoran fare. The resort offers more than 90,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

California

Marking its 20th anniversary, the Estancia La Jolla in La Jolla completed a $26 million update this spring. The propertywide project improved the 210 guest rooms, the lobby, the pool deck and nearly 47,000 square feet of meeting rooms. As part of the hotel's dedication to sustainable travel, the lawn revitalization has reduced the amount of irrigation required for grounds maintenance. 

Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton
Completed: March
San Diego's Hotel La Jolla finished a refresh encompassing 110 rooms and 1,600 square feet of function space. The property also debuted Sea & Sky, a penthouse-level seafood restaurant with a 16-seat private dining area. James Beard–nominated chef Anthony Wells was appointed to oversee all on-site food operations.

Hyatt Regency Irvine

Having recently finished a $50 million redesign, the Hyatt Regency Irvine already debuted a batch of upgraded rooms in August 2023. This year the  property added an artisanal market; a Regency Club with firepits, lounge chairs and a bar; and a reimagined pool with waterslides and fire features. Formerly offering 546 rooms, the hotel downsized to 516, creating more spacious layouts. This project is part of an overall refresh for the brand, and the Irvine location, with 56,000 square feet of meeting space, will be the flagship property to showcase the improvements.

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe marked the culmination of a multiyear makeover with the debut of two residences and three villas, bringing the total to 85 rooms. Guests staying in the new accommodations will be paired with a dedicated concierge. The property features a variety of wellness offerings, including an award-winning spa, as well as more than 24,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

Meritage Resort and Spa
Completed: April
Capping off a $25 million renovation that began in 2022, the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa Valley revamped 322 of its 467 rooms, 80,000 square feet of meeting venues, a six-lane bowling lounge, and the lobby and bar area. New to the property are a steak house, a champagne lounge and a dining terrace in the adjacent vineyard. Sitting on more than 36 acres, nine of which are active vineyards, the resort also is home to multiple tasting rooms, two pools and wellness centers, and six dining outlets.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa
Completed: Summer
The years-long transformation of the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is now complete. The final product entails improvements to more than 500 of the property's 600 rooms, a redesigned golf course, three new salt rooms in the spa and an expansion of the Coastal Events center to 100,000 square feet. In 2021, the resort refreshed the lobby, the bar, the Costa de la Luna Ballroom and other meeting venues. 

Paso Robles Inn
Completed: September
Founded in 1889, the Paso Robles Inn remodeled all 98 guest rooms and expanding the pool area, gardens and event venues. The historic hotel has 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including a ballroom that will be renamed the 1889 House with décor inspired from the Victorian age.

Portola Hotel & Spa
Completed: February
The Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey unveiled a $1.83 million renovation to some of its meeting spaces. The 10,655-square-foot De Anza Ballroom, the 3,287-square-foot De Anza Foyer and the 2,546-square-foot Bonsai Ballroom received new carpeting, wall covers, décor, crown moldings and light fixtures. The 379-room property has a total of 60,000 square feet of meeting space. 

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina
Completed: November
A $100 million investment in the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina has refurbished 717 rooms and 130,000 square feet of event space, and added four new F&B outlets: Brewery X, Rumorosa, Sunglow Cabana Bar, and Strada Café & Market. Remodeled Marina Suites and Premier Suites have balconies with spectacular views of the marina. Rumorosa, the property's signature restaurant, promises group activities such as cooking classes; a tamale-making experience, for which the hotel will freeze participants' hand-made tamales and ship them to their homes; and a VIP fishing trip off the coast of the Baja peninsula with the head chef. Other resort amenities include three pools and a 46-slip marina.

Short Stories Hotel
Completed: February
A boutique property in West Hollywood, the Short Stories Hotel opened a new cocktail bar and lounge, which contains a full-service restaurant and outdoor courtyard. Planners can take advantage of the 66-room hotel's 5,000 square feet of meeting space.

Silverado Resort, Napa Valley
Completed: February
The resort in Northern California's wine country has put the finishing touches on the $1.5 million renovation of meeting rooms, prefunction areas and a 5,160-square-foot ballroom. Additionally, the Silverado Resort refurbished nine tennis courts, added three pickleball courts and refreshed the signature restaurant. The 345-room property plans to update its accommodations later this year.

Westin Los Angeles Airport
Completed: March
Near SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, the 750-room Westin Los Angeles Airport refreshed the lobby and meeting venues, including a 13,100-square-foot ballroom. Also part of the $45 million project are a new Topgolf Swing Suite and 45 EV charging stations in the parking lot. The updates to the hotel coincide with a multibillion-dollar investment in Los Angeles International Airport.

A $20 million refurbishment of the Westin San Diego Bayview has revamped all 436 guest rooms and 30,000 square feet of conference venues. In the heart of downtown San Diego, the hotel also has a rooftop pool, a signature restaurant and a fitness center.

Connecticut

Completed: December
Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026, the Hyatt Regency Greenwich recently completed a renovation. The comprehensive project included a complete remodeling of the 374 rooms, and added two new food-and-beverage outlets: Townsend, a moonlit garden bar, and Glenna's Cafe and Market, a coffee shop with breakfast and lunch options. The 28,000 square feet of meeting space was updated in 2020.

Florida

Caribe Royale Orlando
Completed: January
As of mid-January, the Stadium Club, Caribe Royale Orlando's immersive sports and dining experience, is officially open. The two-floor venue, which spans more than 9,000 square feet, is equipped with 48 virtual golf courses, a digital hockey slap-shot challenge and a 110-foot-long TV display for viewing sporting events. The 1,217-room resort offers 240,000 square feet of event space.

Casa Marina, Curio Collection by Hilton
Completed: Q1
The Key West resort unveiled a $79 million refresh early this year, enhancing all 311 guest rooms, the lobby, the dining outlets and the piers used for watersports. The property also added a 5,000-square-foot oceanfront event lawn to the existing 11,000 square feet of event space.

Epicurean Hotel
Completed: January
The Epicurean Hotel in Tampa rang in the new year with a $21 million expansion. Across the street from the main 137-room property, the new four-story structure contains 51 rooms, a rooftop terrace and 2,500 square feet of meeting space. The project also incorporates two fully restored apartment buildings that are scheduled to open in the spring.

Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club Marathon

This Florida Keys property has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio, and debuted a $14 million upgrade of its accommodations, amenities and dining options. Still to come this year is a new full-service spa. The 125-room property provides more than 40,000 square feet of reimagined event rooms for groups.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach
To be completed: Q4
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has announced that its Coastal Convention Center — a five-story, 45,000-square-foot facility — will open at the end of the year. The new venue will consist of a 16,500-square-foot grand ballroom, a 9,500-square-foot junior ballroom, 15,000 square feet of prefunction space and 15 meeting rooms. Upon completion, the 1,504-room resort will have nearly 150,000 square feet of event space.

The 280-room Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay has refurbished its largest venue: the 26,000-square-foot Stirling Hall. The space received new furniture, carpeting, chandeliers, room dividers and bathrooms. More than 80,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function areas are available to planners.

La Concha Key West

Converting La Concha Key West to a Marriott Autograph property, the lobby, the restaurant and bar, the pool, and the fitness center were all renovated. The 160-room hotel also transformed the spa into premium rooftop suites.

Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay
Completed: Summer
The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay finished a multimillion-dollar transformation, encompassing 607 rooms, the lobby and the pool deck. New to the hotel are the Gold Coast Kitchen + Cocktails restaurant, as well as the city's first M Club, the brand's signature lounge. The 31-story property offers 25 meeting rooms totaling nearly 47,600 square feet.

A member of the Opal Collection, the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach recently refurbished its 253 guest rooms with new flooring, carpets, pull-out couches and more. Suites with kitchens received upgraded appliances, cabinetry and dishware. The gulf-front property features 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

The Seagate

Delray Beach's Seagate unveiled a propertywide makeover last month. The multimillion-dollar project enhanced the hotel's lobby, the pool, the beach club and the café, all 157 rooms, and nearly 5,400 square feet of conference areas.

The 1,009-room Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek's Waterside expansion added more than 90,000 square feet of meeting space, bringing the total to 240,000 square feet. Built over the Bonnet Creek waterways, the new area includes a ballroom, seven breakout rooms, an outdoor patio, an event lawn and a screened lanai offering views of the Walt Disney World fireworks.

Following a multimillion-dollar transformation, the Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront/Palm Beaches Resort has been rebranded as a Curio Collection by Hilton property. Now the Singer Oceanfront Resort, the 223 rooms, lobby and 10,000 square feet of event venues have been updated. Two new dining concepts also have been introduced: Top Shell, a beachfront bar with light bites and signature cocktails, and Caretta Caretta, featuring local and seasonal ingredients in dishes such as yellowtail ceviche, Caribbean chicken and whole crispy grouper.

Georgia

All 439 rooms, including 21 suites, have been upgraded at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. On the 25th floor, the 1,520-square-foot Grand Peach suite can be used for an event of up to eight guests. The next phase of the renovation will focus on the lobby, public spaces and 23,258 square feet of event rooms. 

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park

The Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center is now the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park. The rebranded property updated 600 rooms out of its total of 1,067. Connected to the Georgia World Congress Center, planners have 4 million square feet of exhibition space at their disposal in addition to the hotel's 120,000.

Completed: May
A two-year redesign of the Westin Atlanta Perimeter was capped off in May. The project touched every space of the 372-room hotel, including the lobby, dining outlets and more than 25,000 square feet of conference space. New to the property are two 1,250-square-foot suites and Perimeter Provisions café and marketplace.

Hawaii

AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu
Completed: February
The AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu, which began welcoming guests in December, has opened three food-and-beverage outlets. Common Ground serves coffee and breakfast bites, Dotted Line offers global cuisine, and Yours Truly is a bar and lounge with a hidden speakeasy. The property has 112 rooms and 2,400 square feet of meeting space.

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort

Marking the 10th anniversary of the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, all 320 rooms have been refreshed. The property features four on-site restaurants, 15 acres of beachfront and more than 54,000 square feet of event space.

The 552-room property has debuted its Sky Suite collection, featuring three- and four-bedroom suites, and a 2,200-square-foot penthouse that spans three stories. Amenities include a reimagined pool area with new furniture, umbrellas and private cabanas at both of the resort's famed infinity pools. Planners can take advantage of the five event rooms totaling more than 4,500 square feet.

Royal Lahaina Resort and Bungalows
Completed: August
Following the Maui wildfires in 2023, the Royal Lahaina Resort and Bungalows reopened a year later with two new restaurants: Lahaina Noon, a scenic oceanfront restaurant, and Pineapple Moon, a relaxed poolside bar. The sprawling resort has 333 rooms and 127 bungalows, as well as 5,700 square feet of indoor function venues, with an extra 36,700 square feet outside.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
Completed: June
On the former site of the Ainahau Estate, which was home to Hawaii's Princess Victoria Kaiulani, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani has refreshed all 664 rooms in the Ainahau Tower. The hotel's 14,451 square feet of event space can hold groups of up to 500. The property plans to begin work on the lobby this summer.

Illinois

Hyatt Regency Chicago
Completed: June
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the Hyatt Regency Chicago refreshed all 2,032 rooms, as well as the Crystal and Regency ballrooms. Updates to the Grand Ballroom and several smaller meeting rooms are scheduled to be finished in 2025. The largest hotel in downtown Chicago, the property has 240,000 square feet of function space.

Palmer House
Completed: April
The 1,641-room Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, debuted Potter's Bar, a speakeasy-inspired bar and lounge, in April. Paying tribute to the Prohibition era, the establishment serves classic cocktails, such as the French 75, Manhattans and Side Cars, as well as snacks. The Chicago hotel offers more than 112,000 square feet of meeting space.

Louisiana

Aloft New Orleans Downtown
Completed: January
In the heart of the Central Business District, the Aloft New Orleans Downtown redesigned its lobby, guest rooms, hallways and fitness center. The 188-room hotel offers 3,500 square feet of event space.

Hotel Tonnelle
Completed: February
Part of Marriott's Tribute portfolio, the Hotel Tonnelle in New Orleans' Garden District recently underwent a comprehensive transformation of its 132 rooms, 1,400 square feet of meeting spaces, lobby and public areas. The signature restaurant, Seventeen Feet, is named after the oak trees that line St. Charles Avenue, which are trimmed to 17 feet during parade season.

Le Pavillon, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Completed: November
Known as the "Belle of New Orleans," Le Pavillon finished a revamp last month. The $19 million project encompassed the 226 rooms, its 10,000 square feet of event areas, the lobby, the dining outlets and more. Dating back to 1907, the hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places and once employed Louis Armstrong's parents.

W New Orleans - French Quarter

Part of Marriott Bonvoy's portfolio, the W New Orleans unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation to its 97 rooms and carriage houses. The property offers 4,600 square feet of meeting space, an intimate courtyard and a pool deck with cabanas. Cajun-Creole restaurant 3rd Block Depot serves Big Easy staples, such as crawfish dip, gumbo and beignets.

Massachusetts

Red Jacket Resorts
Completed: May
Cape Cod's Red Jacket Resorts reopened for the spring/summer season after completing a $40 million renovation. Comprised of the Red Jacket Beach Resort, the Riviera Beach Resort and the Blue Water Resort, the hotel brand debuted a collective 397 newly designed rooms, conference venues, and food-and-beverage outlets. Event spaces include the 3,500-square-foot Driftwood Ballroom overlooking Nantucket Sound and the 2,000-square-foot Pavilion on the Sound, which can host up to 200 guests.

Mississippi

MGM Resort International's property on the Gulf Coast debuted a new restaurant on June 17. A fine-dining seafood establishment, Coraline's menu features oysters that are shucked in front of diners, seafood-stuffed fried green tomatoes and turtle soup. Beau Rivage offers 1,733 rooms, which also were renovated recently, and more than 50,000 square feet of event space, including a 1,550-seat theater.

Nevada

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino
Completed: March
Formerly known as the Sierra Cafe, Osteria Sierra debuted at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort on March 15. The dining experience features upscale Italian fare, curated by executive chef Alan Kubler, such as burrata e pomodori with pistachio pesto, tagliata di angus with New York strip steak, and white chocolate and strawberry panna cotta. The property has 422 rooms and 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venues.

Venetian Resort Las Vegas
To be completed: 2024-2026
Marking its 25th anniversary, the Venetian Resort Las Vegas has announced a $1.5 billion makeover. The project will be completed in phases between 2024 and 2026, starting with a new poker room opening this summer and updating all 4,000 suites by September. As for meeting space, $188 million has been dedicated to the 2.25-million-square-foot convention center, which will receive new lighting and audiovisual technology, Murano glass chandeliers, and refreshed interiors.

New Hampshire

Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa
Completed: May
The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa recently unveiled enhancements to the lobby, rooms and restaurants. New wellness treatments also are available at the spa, such as earth healing therapies, meditation programs and forest bathing. The 141-room property provides more than 23,000 square feet of conference space.

New Mexico

Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe
Completed: March
A multimillion-dollar revitalization of all 65 casitas at the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe began in January and was completed in early spring. Over the winter, the property redesigned its landscape to reduce irrigation needs and conserve water resources.

North Carolina

Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club
Completed: September
On Duke University's campus in Durham, the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club upgraded several suites, meeting spaces and the Fairview Dining Room, a AAA Four Diamond-rated restaurant. The property provides a total of 271 rooms and 24,300 square feet of function venues.

Ohio

Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection
Completed: May
Hotel Cleveland has revealed its $90 million renovation in May and held a grand opening in June. Improvements include an updated lobby and two new restaurants: Maker, serving both shareable dishes and larger entrees, and Mowrey, offering breakfast favorites, as well as private dining experiences. The hotel has 491 rooms and 33 conference venues totaling 59,000 square feet, including the largest ballroom at a Marriott property in Ohio. 

Pennsylvania

The Bellevue
Completed: November
The Bellevue in Philadelphia has upgraded its 184 rooms, available for stays as of Nov. 1. The property also debuted more than 30,000 square feet of reimagined conference areas and the 100,000-square-foot Sporting Club, comprised of a full track, pickleball courts, a lap pool, an outdoor terrace and more. In late 2025, the hotel will reveal several new dining and retail outlets.

Pittsburgh Airport Marriott
Completed: June
A four-year renovation of the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was completed over the summer. The final phase of the $18 million project included the lobby, the fitness center and its 12,500 square feet of meeting space. All 317 rooms, including 16 suites, were refreshed in 2021.

Puerto Rico

Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort
Completed: December
The first part of the property's transformation was finished this month, introducing two new pools and cabanas before the holidays. Phase two, scheduled for January, will include revamped rooms and an all-day café. Next fall, the project will culminate with three new restaurants, a state-of-the-art racquet center and other wellness offerings. The 400-room resort offers 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting venues.

South Carolina

Beach House Hilton Head Island
Completed: May
The 202-room Beach House Hilton Head Island kicked off the summer season with a transformed pool deck and live music venue, and a new outdoor pavilion for events. The 2,880-square-foot venue, called the Dunes, brings the resort's meeting space to more than 19,000 square feet.

The Charleston Place
Completed: September
A $150 million refurbishment has been completed at the 433-room Charleston Place. The existing 40,000 square feet of meeting space received new paint, lighting, furniture, carpet and drapery. New additions include two 1,350-square-foot conference rooms, a second set of restrooms and extended prefunction space.

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront
Completed: May
Following a $30 million renovation, the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront is now dual-branded as a DoubleTree and Tapestry Collection by Hilton. All of the 452 rooms have redesigned, as well as the 29,568-square-foot conference center. Additions to the property  include a new main building with a lobby and restaurants, an infinity pool, cabanas, and a lazy river.

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort

The $26 million upgrades to the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort were finished at the end of February. The propertywide project encompasses the front entrance, lobby, 323 rooms and an expanded courtyard. With 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, the resort provides three golf courses, 17 tennis courts and 24 pickleball courts.

The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island unveiled all 340 revamped rooms as part of a comprehensive makeover. Guest rooms now feature updated bathrooms, bedding, furniture and more. Slated for completion in May 2025, phase two will touch the food-and-beverage outlets, the spa and more than 23,000 square feet of event rooms.

Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa

Last month, the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa unveiled a $13.8 million renovation. The project updated all guest rooms and added four new ones. The now 420-room property features nearly 39,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, 12 miles of beachfront and three swimming pools.

Tennessee

Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown
Completed: September
The Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown's multimillion-dollar, propertywide project refreshed the 482 rooms, 30,000 square feet of meeting space, and food-and-beverage outlets. In true Music City style, the hotel has the largest publicly rented vinyl record collection in Nashville, and guests can borrow up to five albums at a time.

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa

Sitting on 300 acres in San Antonio, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa revealed a new lobby lounge. The Woodbine Bar serves a variety of signature cocktails and light bites, including a gulf shrimp cocktail, quail knots with a citrus achiote brine, and local artisanal cheeses. In 2023, the property upgraded its 502 rooms and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain

The 258-room Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain unveiled two new dining options in March: all day café Lilly May's and seafood-focused Original Skiff Fish + Oyster. The hotel offers nearly 19,000 square feet of meeting space.

Washington

Davenport Hotel
Completed: September
Previously known as the Historic Davenport, the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Wash., revealed a lobby bar and an emporium earlier this fall. The emporium is a specialty retail outlet and café, where guests can view the hotel's famous peanut brittle being made daily. The Pacific Northwest property, which celebrated its 110th anniversary this year, features 284 rooms and nearly 33,000 square feet of meeting areas.

The Marcus Whitman
Completed: Summer
A 133-room hotel in Walla Walla, Wash., the Marcus Whitman updated its guest rooms and lobby. The Marc Restaurant, Marc Bar and Marc Cafe had already been refurbished and reopened in March, serving farm-to-table cuisine and curated local wine pairings. The property features more than 13,000 square feet of event venues.

Four Seasons Washington, D.C.

The 222-room Four Seasons Washington, D.C., has finished upgrading the spa, enhancing treatment rooms, a coed lounge and an indoor swimming pool. Spa-goers can now experience Mind Sync Technology, which connects to treatment tables and uses advanced technology to synchronize brainwaves, inducing a deep state of relaxation. For groups, the property provides nearly 23,000 square feet of event space.

Salamander Washington D.C.

The Salamander Washington D.C. renewed its 373 rooms, the lobby, the spa and all public spaces. Part of the plan included adding a signature restaurant by celebrity chef Kwame Onwuachi, known for Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi in New York City. The property features 36,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting venues.

St. Regis Washington, D.C.

A staple of the nation's capital since 1926, the St. Regis Washington, D.C., upgraded all 128 rooms and suites this year. At 2,510 square feet, the presidential suite is the largest accommodation, and guests staying in any of the suites have access to the hotel's renowned butler service. The property provides eight event rooms totaling nearly 11,400 square feet.

Belize

Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection

Celebrating its third anniversary, the Alaia Belize in San Pedro Town unveiled the new Sea Grape Hall Conference Center and the refurbished K'In Spa & Wellness Center. The 3,100-square-foot conference center hosts gatherings of up to 200 people, and joins the resort's other event spaces, such as a suspended rooftop pool and lounge. The spa includes three new treatment rooms, a sauna, a boutique and an expanded fitness center. Scheduled to be completed this winter, a sea wall will create an expanded beach with 1,000 square feet of ocean frontage.

British Virgin Islands

Peter Island Resort
Completed: January
Peter Island Resort finally has reopened after a six-year renovation following hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. The rebuild includes 52 redesigned rooms, suites and villas; a spa; and a yacht club. Event venues also have been expanded, and now include a 3,000-square-foot conference center, two oceanfront event lawns and a prefunction veranda.

Canada

Hôtel Château Laurier Québec
Completed: September
The Hôtel Château Laurier Québec recently finished a $4.5 million makeover. Out of 271 rooms, 88 have been redone, some of which are now equipped with gas fireplaces. Planners can take advantage of the property's 17,000 square feet of function venues.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia
Completed: June
The Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver is refurbishing all 156 rooms, the lobby and the lounge. Formerly a seasonal food-and-beverage outlet, the Reflections Terrace is becoming a year-round restaurant beginning in June, thanks to a new fully retractable roof. The hotel closed on Jan. 1 to begin construction and reopened in early June. Gatherings can be held in the 9,000 square feet of meeting space.

Germany

Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin
Completed: September
Following an eight-month renovation, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin welcomed a new wellness oasis, complete with a pool, a fitness center, and a relaxation area with saunas, a plunge pool and a fireplace lounge. The property has 385 rooms and nearly 25,900 square feet of function space.

Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden
Completed: September
The Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinksi Dresden reopened in February after being closed for a full year for construction. Dating back to 1705, the property previously was a palace commissioned by the Saxon King, August the Strong, for his mistress. A reimagined lobby, all 211 newly redesigned rooms and suites, and several restaurants and bars were all included in the head-to-toe makeover. The finishing touches were completed in September, improving the spa with a fitness center, a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and more. For groups, the historic hotel offers nearly 26,000 square feet of conference venues.

Indonesia

Viceroy Bali
Completed: April
The Viceroy Bali debuted a Pinstripe cocktail bar and lounge this spring. The menu highlights the resort's focus on sustainability, using ingredients repurposed from the kitchen as part of their zero-waste offerings. Guests can book a cocktail masterclass with the head mixologist to get a tour of the property's garden, learn tips and tricks, and concoct drinks.

The 245-room Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo transformed its lobby lounge over the summer. On the 45th floor, the venue now provides seating for 72 guests and offers five reimagined menus, including the Japanese Craftsmanship Collection Menu, which features a "diamonds are forever" martini that is garnished with a one-carat rock. The hotel features nearly 12,000 square feet of conference space.

Mexico

Corazón Cabo Resort and Spa
Completed: Summer
One of the newest luxury properties in Cabo, the 310-room resort renovated the beach club and signature restaurant this summer. The property added 45,000 square feet of event space in October 2023.

Switzerland

Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz
Completed: December
After two years, the revamp of the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski has been finished. The project kicked off in conjunction with the property's 20th anniversary in December 2022 — unveiling a refurbished lobby, signature restaurant and retail units — and wrapped up this month with 78 refreshed rooms and the opening of Billionaire St. Moritz, a dinner and club experience. Other features include 225 rooms and more than 13,000 square feet of meeting space.

Turkey

Kempinski Hotel the Dome Belek

On the Turkish Mediterranean, the property unveiled 158 redesigned rooms, 43 exclusive suites and two new culinary concepts. The suites are villa-style accommodations separated from the main building by a wooden bridge, giving the feeling of a private retreat. The hotel offers more than 29,800 square feet of event areas.
