Three St. Thomas resorts - closed since sustaining damage from Hurricanes Irma and Maria - have announced their reopening dates.The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas [https://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/caribbean/st-thomas], will reopen Nov. 22. The 180-room-propertyl has undergone an extensive $100 million makeover. Among the offerings of the resort are four restaurants including Alloro, with a Sicilian menu; a remodeled infinity pool and new family-friendly pool; a luxury catamaran for sunset cruises, snorkeling tours and private events and a renovated Club Lounge with updated culinary offerings and sea-inspired décor. The beachfront resort has five indoor meeting space and six outdoor event spaces.
Following an injection of $200 million, the 384-room Frenchman's Reef Marriott Resort & Spa will reopen in 2020. The renovated property offers three resort pools including an infinity edge pool with swim-up pool bar, a spa, and 85,000 square-feet of meeting and event space. The adjacent Noni Beach Resort, the first Autograph Collection hotel in the U.S. Virgin Islands, will debut in 2020. The 94-room property, the former Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, will include a private beach, a beachfront infinity-edge pool with swim-up bar and a 3,000-square-foot ballroom.
