Northstar Meetings Group's must-attend incentive, loyalty and motivation event will take place April 19-21 in Tucson, ArizIncentive Live 2020 will enjoy a roundtable with industry influencers on the biggest trends, as well as the Motivation Masters Awards, one-on-one hosted-buyer appointments, networking opportunities and more during three highly productive days at the Loews Ventana Canyon.

Appointments with incentive destinations, hotels/resorts, cruise lines, DMCs, DMOs, brand-name merchandise, gift cards and tourism offices, Northstar's incentive event will feature expert perspectives on the latest practices that will help take programs to the next level. With our 2020 program quickly approaching, we're taking a look at all the can't-miss aspects of April's event. 

A New Take on the Incentive Roundtable

Incentive Live 2020's agenda will feature a "deconstructed" roundtable focusing on the major disruptors that are currently impacting the industry. Attendees will then have the freedom to choose a thought leader to join in a deep-dive discussion of their given topic, after which the whole audience will regroup and the leaders will share key takeaways, solutions and ideas discussed.

Incentive Live 2020 also will include breakout sessions aimed at helping professional incentive planners boost their business and program success. 

Sales Program Sins, presented by Melissa Van Dyke, vice president of design and insights for the Creative Group, will explore common mistakes planners when creating an incentive program for sales teams or channel partners. Participants will take a close look at these incentive "sins," the behavioral science behind them and how to avoid these mistakes to deliver more business.

Measuring the Success of Your Incentive Program, presented by Tina Weede, CITP, CIS, CRP, president and CEO of Peerless Performance, and vice president of research and content for the Site Foundation, and Stephanie Harris, president of the Incentive Research Foundation), will look at return on investment for incentive programs. According to the latest Incentive Industry Index, companies place almost as much value on the "soft-power" objectives these programs deliver -- building engagement, retaining employees, etc. -- as they do on meeting and exceeding sales targets. This session will help participants determine more expansive ways to view their programs' ROI.

Revitalizing a Long-Running Program, presented by Missy Madden, CMP, CMM, CIS, lead strategist, incentive travel director for East West Connection, will offer ideas on how to boost long-term long-term incentive programs once they begin to lose effectiveness. During this session, the group will learn details of how one incentive professional elevated a client's legacy program.

Translating Wellness Into Peak Performance will look at wellness as an important component of an engaged and top-performing workforce. An expert will share insights and tips on how companies can invest in the health of their teams -- and how wellness can boost their bottom line.

Organized each year by Incentive, the Motivation Masters awards honor winners in four categories: sales, channel sales, recognition and loyalty; the Grand Motivation Master award celebrates outstanding overall achievement.
