Karla Aufranc has over 20 years’ experience in the hotel, conference and tradeshow industry. Karla’s career has been split between senior sales positions with major hotel chains and working for Experient. Since 2008, she has led several sourcing teams for some of Experient’s largest corporate clients, including events from 50 to 50,000 attendees. She became an Experience Design Master Designer in 2016 and continually champions the design principles internally and externally to solve current issues.

Senior Director of Business Development, Global Cynergies

DiMinno's experience has been with building sales teams and assisting those teams with business development. Working with clients sourcing group meetings business worldwide, and developing SMMS systems for larger organizations, she serves as senior director of business development with Global Cynergies, a worldwide site selection and meetings resource company. Prior to that, spent 20 years with HelmsBriscoe as Vice President responsible for the West Coast sales team of over 150 sales associates. She began her 30-year career in hospitality in Hyatt Hotels' sales and catering department.
