Atlanta
Known as a city in the forest, Atlanta has something special for every meeting. Here are resources and insights to help ensure an impactful gathering.
Why Atlanta for Your Next Meeting or Event?
Atlanta is a major meetings destination with a high concentration of convention facilities, hotels and attractions in and around downtown. The Georgia World Congress Center anchors the city’s convention district, alongside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Centennial Olympic Park and about 12,000 hotel rooms within the surrounding area.
Outside the convention district, planners can build programs around Atlanta’s distinct neighborhoods, including Midtown and Buckhead, as well as the city’s restaurants, cultural attractions and outdoor spaces. The Atlanta BeltLine, Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Botanical Garden and numerous museums and performance venues give groups plenty of ways to fill time between meetings.
