Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia finished a $2.5 million redesign in April 2018, blending classic architectural details with modern twists, subdued colors and a touch of whimsy with dream-inspired decor. The redesign included 107 rooms including 16 suites, private outdoor terraces and the rest of the hotel’s 5,600 square feet of gathering space, hallways, public areas and French brasserie BRABO, which caters all events. The luxurious urban retreat is a destination unto itself and offers easy access to Washington, D.C.

The recently renovated historic Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach is an 85-room, 21-acre oceanfront property and the latest luxury-class member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection with unrivaled meeting and event spaces. Its state-of-theart spaces offer guests customizable experiences. The Crystal Ballroom, once host to big band performers and galas, has been returned to original size and can accommodate up to 200 guests for any type event. The property also includes four distinct dining venues and the first and only distillery fully integrated into a U.S. hotel.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin underwent a complete renovation of the Walt Disney World Dolphin lobby. This $12 million re-design was the final stage of the largest makeover in the hotel’s history. The new lobby has been completely transformed into a sleek contemporary space and features new dining and beverage options and more space for attendees. The lobby re-design is the final stage of a total $150 million project which also includes the transformation of all 2,270 guest rooms, along with upgrades to the hotel’s meeting space.

Naples Grande Beach Resort — the independent luxury beachside resort located in Naples, Fla. — offers 474 guest rooms including 29 gulf-view suites, and 50 renovated Garden Villa Suites. These spacious rooms contain all new furnishings, lighting, and custom art pieces from local Florida artists, as well as bedding designed specifically to emphasize the cool, relaxing oceanside feel of the property. This inspiring and constantly evolving resort recently underwent several renovations to refresh its public spaces, lobby, signature restaurant and more than 83,000 square feet of meeting space.

A centerpiece of New Orleans' burgeoning Biomedical Innovation District, the Jung Hotel & Residences debuted in January 2018 after undergoing a decade-long renovation to breathe new life into its storied past. The 207-room luxury hotel and modern residences features its landmark exterior, which opens to a marble-clad lobby featuring Art Deco chandeliers. The sleek, artful aesthetic extends throughout the hotel's 21,000-squarefeet of meeting and event space—including an exhibit hall and rooftop pool deck—fitness center, dining and coffee house.

2018 is on track to be a memorable year for Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. The hotel celebrates its 17th anniversary with newly renovated, modern and sleek accommodations which increased from 622 to 650 guest rooms. This year the four-star hotel debuted its new dining options, Conner's Kitchen + Bar and Rye Bar, a redesigned lobby, Loaf + Vine Market and M Club Lounge. Ideal for business and leisure travelers alike, the hotel is centrally located and connected via climate-controlled skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa has debuted 29 luxury all-season villas. The multimillion-dollar investment enhances the resort experience with expanded, upscale accommodations for leisure and business guests. Nestled in a beautifully manicured setting, the villas feature studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodations. Each unit includes a full kitchen, flat screen TVs, deluxe furnishings and a furnished outdoor area. The interior design incorporates visual elements of the outdoors while providing a comfortable experience.

The Scott, located in Old Town Scottsdale, is undergoing a $15 million renovation, the first phase of which is complete and includes all public spaces, including meeting rooms and The Canal Club, the hotel's new restaurant, bar and lounge. The second phase, which commenced this summer, will revamp all 204 spacious guest rooms, unveil an all-new Presidential Suite and the addition of four one-bedroom suites. The property offers a lively, social vibe with a nod to local Sonoran style and design and will include enhanced amenities and new programming.

Rustic yet refined, the $115 million Vineyard Tower expansion at Gaylord Texan boasts 303 luxury guest rooms, an outdoor terrace offering spectacular views of Lake Grapevine and 86,000 square feet of carpeted meeting space including a 30,000-squarefoot ballroom, 30,000 square feet of breakout space and 26,000 square feet of pre-function space. This increases Gaylord Texan's total offerings to 1,814 guest rooms and almost half a million square feet of meeting space, making it one of the top three largest non-gaming convention resorts in the United States.

The Palazzo is celebrating 10 years with a stunning makeover. After an eight-month rejuvenation,
Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's Tower Wing emerged with a new urban resort look inspired by Shangri-La, the mythical utopia. The property unveiled a refreshed lobby, brand new rooms and suites, three novel restaurant concepts, and a revitalized club lounge. The renovation celebrates nature with inspired sculptures, paintings, chandeliers, furniture, walls made of stone (Southeast Asia's largest indoor natural feature wall) and more. The Wing embraces regional heritage with contemporary furniture made from sustainable materials sourced from Southeast Asia, like parchment and shagreen from Thailand, or rattan and wood from the Philippines.
